The Founding of the Gallery

Lucky Home Collections is a Malaysia based company founded by Oliver Lee and Alex Tan, two avid collectors of Oriental antiquities and vintage collectibles since their youth. They had the idea to start a shop with finely curated collections after they had similar frustrations when it comes to challenges and pitfalls people usually experienced when looking for reasonably-priced quality oriental furniture and chinoiserie elements for the modern home.

The last straw for them to take the plunge was when Oliver’s wife sternly gave him a warning not to turn the house into a private museum.

With the resounding success and positive feedback from clients so far, despite the current COVID-19 pandemic globally, they felt that it is the right time to open the website-based sister store luckyhomecollections.com with even more choices of quality oriental furniture and chinoiserie while adhering to their policy of honest and reasonable pricing for quality products to all chinoiserie lovers around the world.
